David Bennett has over 20 years of experience in the visual effects, performance capture, film, Tv and movie industries. He has played a major role in the development of facial animation, having managed the Facial Motion Capture team at Weta Digital. His credit's include: Avatar, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, The Adventures of Tintin, Beowulf, Monster House and The Polar Express. He has also provided facial motion capture supervision for more than 50 actors, such as Angelina Jolie, Anthony Hopkins, Cate Blanchett and John Malkovich. During his career David has invented many new tools and techniques to streamline and enhance the capabilities of the internal technology. For instance, a Markerless Facial Motion Capture Solution, that eliminates the tracking process and learns from user input.
